The secret behind Kanye West’s super fresh look has been revealed; the US rapper apparently makes sure that he gets his hair cut every single day, paying $500 a time. Yikes – who’d have thought that cutting a day’s worth of hair would be so costly, eh?
The claims come courtesy of Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, who spent a month on tour with RiRi and Kanye back in 2010, with Ron admitting that he was stunned to see the amount of effort Kanye puts into his barnet.
Speaking to Heat magazine, he explained: “It’s crazy – Kanye gets a hair cut every day.”He pays his barber $500 a time. I don’t understand how much hair gets taken off; Kanye just loves the fresh look.”
The lucky barber in question is Chicago-based Ibn Jasper, who first met Yeezus twenty years ago. The star apparently begged Ibn to move to New York back in 2003 after he was left severely disappointed by the barbers there, with Ibn letting us know exactly how we can tell if Kanye’s having a bad hair day, sharing: “Whenever he was pictured wearing that orange hat, it meant he’d gottena f*cked up cut in NYC.”
