Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described Saturday’s supplementary election in Kano as a “war” on the people of the state.
He made this known in a Sunday morning tweet while reacting to reports of widespread intimidation of voters and electoral violence that allegedly marred the exercise.
Fani-Kayode accused the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Kano State Government of colluding with the Federal Government to “rob” the people of the state.
According to him, “What transpired in Kano yesterday was nothing short of murder, thuggery, bloodshed, intimidation and all manner of evil and injustice.
“This was not an election but a war in which the APC-controlled Kano state government and the Federal Government conspired and colluded to terrorise and rob the people.”
