Former Super Eagles star, Kalu Uche is now the top goal scorer in Turkey’s Super Lig after he netted for Kasimpasa in the club’s 1-3 loss to Fenerbahce on Sunday.
Uche scored from the penalty spot in the second minute of his team’s encounter with Fenerbache.
Fenerbache, who had Joseph Yobo on for the entire duration of the game, equalised on the hour-mark through Pierre Achille Webo, and sealed the win with late goals from Emre Belozoglu and Moussa Sow.
Uche has now scored 13 goals in 23 games for Kasimpasa.
Uche, the elder brother of Ikechukwu Uche was not called up by Stephen Keshi for the 2013 Afcon which the Super Eagles won but has shown consistent goal scoring form which may convince the Super Eagles coach to have a rethink on his usefulness to the national team.
