Nigerians have taken to social media to bash a man, Abdulrahman Yahaya, for calling popular journalist, Kadaria Ahmed an “apostate” that deserved to be killed for “converting to Christianity”.
The Twitter user who tweets from @cardinalabdul said this in a tweet on Thursday morning.
Kadaria converted to Christianity in London. I was appalled when I heard her describing herself as a passionate citizen of Zamfara. By Islamic tenets, kadaria is a walking corpse. She’s supposed to have been killed as an apostate. She’s a condemned soul.

The journalist, who reacted to the post, called on police authorities to invite Yahaya for questioning over threat to her life.
She tweeted:
Also, some Nigerians described Yahaya’s comment as a form of cyberbullying that should not be tolerated.
Responding to Yahaya’s tweet, socio-political commentator, Segun ‘Sega’ Awosanya, said, “In the spirit of humanity we all should report this account. No one deserves to be bullied or maligned based on their chosen faith. This kind of evil must never be condoned in the Socialmedia space. We all must condemn this extremist & demand the suspension of his account.”
Other Nigerians also condemned the comment.
Read reactions monitored by our reporter:
Kadaria did NOT convert to Christianity. This tweet also suggests that you can't be a Christian and be from Zamfara State.
Please join me in reporting this wannabe murderer. He is a disgrace to Islam! https://t.co/oyyEgYFIEH

I not only reported the tweet but I send an email to Twitter HR and Twitter Safety regarding his past Tweets on Facebook and this one too on Twitter.
In less days he will no longer exist.
Thanks @segalink and all for the prompt notification of this absolute nonsense!

But beyond condemnation on social media platform, this fellow needs to be questioned by the appropriate authorities, and then probably referred to psychological therapy.
We don't want extremism toyed with anymore.
