Renowned American singer Justin Timberlake was arrested on Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York, and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), according to reports and confirmed by a police spokesperson and a Sag Harbor Justice Court official.
Timberlake is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday, as confirmed by the Suffolk County district attorney’s office. This arrest comes amidst his ongoing “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” with upcoming shows in Chicago and New York City.
The singer rose to fame as a member of the popular boy band NSYNC and later pursued a successful solo career, also venturing into acting. Timberlake has won numerous awards, including 10 Grammy Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards.
