The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Idowu Owohunwa is presently addressing journalists over an ongoing investigation into the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The Herald recalls that Mohbad died on 12th September at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances.
Celebrities and thousands of Nigerians have since demanded justice for Mohbad in nationwide protests.
On September 18, the Lagos police inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the singer’s death.
Owohunwa had vowed that the command would use all its powers to fish out everyone indicted in the case.
On September 21, the police exhumed Mohbad’s corpse for autopsy and are awaiting the results.
