News just coming in indicates that the Aliyu Wabba led NLC have called off their nationwide Strike.
The strike action went underway on Monday and was commenced in reaction to the Federal Government’s decision to increase the price of petroleum products.
The NLC have now resolved to go back to the negotiation table with the Federal government and figure out a way to strike an agreement that works for both parties.
The Joe Ajaero faction of the NLC had already mooted that they would discuss with the government on a time frame to end the importation of petroleum products into the country.
More details later.
