Senate President Ahmed Lawan says President Muhammadu Buhari will submit the much-anticipated ministerial list to the Upper Chamber this week.
He stated this at plenary on Wednesday, saying that the list would be submitted for consideration and approval before the senate embarks on its annual two-month recess on July 26.
Lawan made this known after another senator, Sen. Bassey Akpan (PDP – Akwa Ibom North-East) raised a point of order that the delay in submission of the list could have negative impact on the senator’s annual holidays.
The senate president assured his colleagues that the Buhari-led presidency was working assiduously to compile and transmit the list to the senate before the week runs out.
