The Lagos State Judicial Panel on Police Brutality has summoned the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu to appear before it.
The Justice Doris Okuwobi (rtd)-led panel issued the summon on Tuesday.
The summon is in respect of a bedridden petitioner, Adewale Adewuyi.
Speaking through his lawyer, Debo Adeleke, the petitioner told the panel how the police seized a 26-acre farmland from him in 2013 and refused to return same since then.

Adeleke said that summoning the IGP would help compel the police to release the landed property.
