Commuters who woke as early as 4 am to beat roadblock caused by the EndSARS protests were greeted to gunshots by hoodlums in the Ogolonto area of Ikorodu in Lagos.
It was gathered that the hoodlums robbed commuters in Ogolonto, Majidun and Idi-Iroko.
Law enforcement agents were said to have been absent as the assailants held sway for nearly an hour.

On Monday, a clash between street urchins popularly known as Area Boys led to the death of a carpenter in the same neighbourhood.
The clash started Saturday between a faction of commercial motorcyclists in Majidun and Idi-Iroko.
They were said to be fighting for supremacy when the carpenter known as Fatai was killed.
However, it quickly escalated to involve suspected cultists, individuals and socio-cultural groups.
