The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shi’ites, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, has arrived Delhi, the Indian capital, for his medical treatment.
Herald Nigeria learnt that he was received by a medical team who conveyed him in a wheelchair to the hospital.

The Shiites leader departed Nigeria at about 6:30 pm on Monday aboard an Emirate flight, with a brief stopover in Dubai.
The Islamic cleric and Zeenat, his wife, El-Zakzaky and his wife made a stopover at Dubai International Airport at about 4:00 am on Tuesday, and arrived India the same day, the IMN spokesperson was quoted as saying.
A federal high court had given El-Zakzaky the leave to travel to the Asian country for medical treatment, away from his detention with the Department of State Services (DSS).
He ha been in detention since 2015, with his health deteriorating from pellets of bullet in his body.
