A CNN reporter, Omar Jimenez has been arrested in Minneapolis while covering the riots resulting from the brutal killing of an African-American man, George Floyd.
Despite introducing himself, Jimenez was arrested and cuffed on live television by riot police on Friday.
His crew members were arrested with him.
The network quoted one of its arrested staff as saying that a police officer told him they were arrested for not moving when they were told to do so.
It appeared the officers were attempting to arrest a protester behind the crew when the instruction was given.
