Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale has officially rejoined Tottenham Hotspur, seven years after quitting the club.
He rejoined the club on a season-long loan and has been assigned the number 9 jersey.
Bale had joined the North London side in 2007 as a 17-year-old but headed to Spain seven years ago.
Before his 2013 departure, he played 203 games for Spurs, scoring 55 goals – including 26 in a memorable final campaign in 2012/13.
Spurs confirmed the loan move via Twitter.
“We are delighted to announce the return of @GarethBale11 to the Club on a season-long loan from Real Madrid!” the club tweeted.
