British-Nigerian former heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has confirmed his fight with Jermaine Franklin for April 1.
Joshua shared an e-flyer of the fight on his verified Facebook page on Monday.
The flight is scheduled for the 02 Arena in London.
In January, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn revealed that the former two-time heavyweight champion would step back into the ring in April, for the first time after his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
He stated that the April 1 fight could end the 33-year-old’s boxing career should he lose.
The match would be a chance for ‘AJ’ to claim victory in the ring for the first time since knocking out Kubrat Pulev in December 2020.
Franklin is also seeking redemption after controversially losing to Dillian Whyte last November, the first loss in his professional career.
