In emerging news, it has been reported that the Niger Delta Avengers, who have been credited with mass vandalism and militancy, have struck again, this time in Delta.
They bombed a Chevron owned pipeline supplying gas that provides electricity to the Escravos tank farm in Delta State.
The militant group claimed responsibility for the attack through their twitter handle @NDAvengers
They claimed that the reason for the attack was because Chevron ignored their orders not to fix a pipeline the Avengers had blown earlier in the month.
