Just a day after returning from his vacation in London, President Muhammadu Buhari suspended tenureship in Federal Civil Service.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation in a statement released on June 20, said that the suspension has immediate effect.
It read in part: “The directive was contained in a circular to all Ministries, Departments and Agencies signed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita.
“The circular which conveyed the president’s directive on the suspension said the suspension is with immediate effect and all concerned to comply accordingly.”
The decision became the first after President Buhari returned from his medical trip to London.
