Manchester United target, Jose Mourinho may have told a friend that he will be managing Manchester United soon.
Recall that this medium reported that the Portuguese tactician was invited by former Inter president and minority shareholder, Massimo Moratti to watch the club’s game at the San Siro against Sampdoria on Saturday.
Well, before the game, Moratti’s sister Bedy Moratti had lunch with the 53-year-old tactician and when asked by reporters outside the restaurant, she said: “He is happy, he is joining Manchester United.”
Mourinho is a favourite to replace out-of-favour Louis van Gaal, who has recorded the worst result of any United manager in 35 years at this stage of a league season, with 41 points in 26 games.
He compounded an already woeful season with a 2-1 to Danish minions, Midtjylland in the Europa league midweek.
However, club executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is the only United boss still openly backing the embattled manager.
But the situation is expected to change soon as more and more United stakeholders, players and fans continue to voice their concerns over the club’s future.
