Jose Mourinho faces another backlash from Chelsea fans after heaping praise on their ‘incredible’ rivals.
The Blues boss caused a stir after Saturday’s west London derby win against QPR by comparing the Stamford Bridge atmosphere to an empty stadium.
His comments wasn’t well accepted bby supporters, but later admitted that he might have gone too far.
However, the Chelsea boss might face more criticism after hailing QPR’s travelling contingent.
R’s boss Harry Redknapp revealed: “He came up to me during the game and told me our fans were incredible.
“The support we got at Chelsea was great. I don’t think he could believe the amount of noise they were making up in that corner. We had 3,000 fans there and it seemed like we had 15,000!
“Your team responds to that. Supporters don’t realise just what difference they make.
“They can make or break a team. When they are with you and getting behind you it’s worth so much.”
