Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe, Deputy National Chairman, South West zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that President Goodluck Jonathan has done more for Southwest zone than any of his predecessors.
Ogundipe while speaking at the launch of Goodluck Lagos Grassroots Project (GLGP) by the 20 PDP local government chairmen in the state said “President Jonathan had done more than any of his predecessors and had made South West better than he met it. The zone once had its son in the saddle who failed to prove himself.
“The Jonathan administration had significantly improved the railway system, just as it had also done in aviation sector. Nigeria had since become investors’ destination in the last three years of PDP government.
“What we are doing here today is sensitisation of the people of Lagos State, everyone must carry the message along, what are you doing to mobilise and win votes for PDP.”
Ogundipe charged the gathering to ensure that PDP secures majority of the votes in Lagos.
