The artist has been able to reach this height with just his debut album released in 2021, Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic and an EP, Love & Light which he released in 2019.
His music career is being compared to that of Fireboy who Nigerians claim is nowhere near the former, stating that what Joeboy has achieved with just an EP and album, Fireboy has achieved with an addition of 1million with three albums.

It has been stated that with Joeboy’s forthcoming album lurking around, set to be released 21st of May, this year, there is no denying that the artist’s music career would supercede that of Fireboy’s.
