Torino goalkeeper Joe Hart began his career in Italy on a shaky note as an error from him led to Atalanta equalising against his side.
The goalkeeper, on loan from Manchester City after losing out on his place in the first-team under Pep Guardiola, lined up for the Serie A side for the first time on Sunday.
And just as many supporters pointed out that Claudio Bravo cost City a goal in the Manchester derby on Saturday, Hart went and made a similar error in Bergamo.
Iago Falque had given Torino the lead, but two minutes later Hart helped undo his side’s good work when he flapped at a corner, allowing Andrea Masiello to knock it into the open net and tie up the score.
The day had perhaps not been going the England international’s way from the very beginning, as he had been named on the official team sheet as “John Hart”.
