American singer, Jennifer Lopez, is thought to be having major doubts over getting married to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.
This latest twist comes after the two lovers had cancelled their wedding in June 2015 due to the global covid-19 pandemic.
The singer and actress, aged 51-years, opened up on the current state of her relationship during an appearance on Andy Cohen‘s radio show.
The radio host asked the artiste, during the show, if she and heartthrob, Alex, aged 45 years, were contemplating halting their wedding plans and opting for a relationship like that which Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell share.
Lopez confirmed that was part of conversations her and Alex had held before.
“We’ve talked about that, for sure,” Lopez said.
“At our age, you know, we’ve both been married before. It like, ‘Do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us?’
“And it just comes down to personal… Like, ‘What do you want to do?” she asked.

Lopez lamented the cancellation of her marriage earlier this year, but assured that they were in no haste whatsoever.
“There’s definitely no rush, though.
“It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all, so in March or April we’re looking down the pipe and we’re going, ‘This is maybe not gonna happen. Italy’s the worst place in the world.’ And we were gonna get married in Italy,” she said.
The artiste pointed out that, even though they tried to reschedule plans, the timing was not right.
“It was just a little disappointing and you just think to yourself, ‘Well, things will happen in their divine time in a way.’
“But the same thing with the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, ‘Do you have to? Should we?’
“It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it and I think it’s something that maybe is still important to us, but there’s no rush.”
“It will happen when it happens,” She ended.
Had Lopez and Alex got married in June, it would have been the singer’s 4th marriage, having previously divorced Ojani Noa, in 1998, dancer, Chris Judd, in 2002, and fellow singer, Marc Anthony, in 2012.
Fiancé, Rodriguez, is also a product of divorce–his split with Cynthia Scurtis, in 2002.
