The President of the artist’s Label Steve Carless has confirmed that Jeezy has been released from jail after pleading not guilty to illegal gun charges.
The rapper and five members of his entourage were taken to jail on Sunday (August 24th) after police discovered an AK-47 gun on his tour bus. Cops obtained a search warrant and inspected the bus after a 38-year old man was shot and killed backstage during an “Under the Influence” tour stop in Mountain View, California last week.
On Thursday evening (Aug. 28), Jeezy and his team were released after posting $1 million bail. He is also scheduled to appear in court for a pre-hearing trial three days after his new album, Seen It All: The Autobiography drops on September 2nd.
