Nigerian football legend Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha alongside his brother and ex-international Emma on Tuesday in Lagos unveiled the Jay Jay Okocha Foundation.
Former teammates of the football Legend have applauded the move by former Eagles captain.
Ex-goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, praised the former Bolton Wanderers man, saying: “I am really happy with what Okocha has set out to do again with this Foundation,”
“I offer my full support to this course and also implore Okocha to use his name to further unite this country; starting from his region in the South East.”
Ex-Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen and Mutiu Adepoju also applauded Okocha, pledging full support for the foundtion.
Okocha says the foundation will provide a platform for young, talented, but less privileged Nigerian youths to realise their dreams in life through football.
