The EndSARS protests happening across the nation have brought Nigerian youth of all clan and creed together to demand an end to police brutality.
A lone figure is standing strong representing a hitherto neglected class in Nigeria: the physically-challenged.
The beautiful and resolute young lady identified as Jane, who has had one of her legs amputated, is currently the cynosure of all eyes for defying her limitation to join the protest.
Jane is said to have been unemployed since 2013 due to her condition.
In appreciation, Nigerians have taken to social media to pay kudos and raise money to get her a prosthetic limb.
A medical doctor, Nomso Ejemba @aproko_doctor, is championing the fundraising campaign.
He tweeted:
This is Jane.
She's been unemployed since 2013 partly because of her disability, she came out in the #EndSARS protests and we need to help.

We updated the amount needed after deliberations with @Bayo_Ojelabi seeing as she will deserve the highest quality possible.
He and his team will not collect a dime for assembling the prostheses.
Everything will be done. Free of Charge
God bless you!
Let's keep it coming!

“We need to get Jane a prosthetic leg to help her move better and increase her chances of getting a job,” read a message urging the public to donate.
