An amputee identified as Jane became popular during the #EndSARS protests in October after she defied her limitation to join the call for an end to police brutality.
Photos of Jane limping on one leg supported by crutches as she marched to support #EndSARS became one of the enduring memories of the protests.
The photos drew public attention to her case as it also emerged that she had been unemployed since 2013, due to her condition.
There were calls for her to be supported to live a normal life, with many Nigerians saying she deserved a prosthetic limb and cash to start up a business.
Thankfully, she has finally been fitted with a prostethic limb to ease her mobility.
A medical doctor and popular Twitter influencer, Dr Nomso Egemba, also known as Aproko Doctor, gave the update over the weekend.
