Real Madrid’s weekend defeat to Real Sociedad raised doubts on how the Champions League leaders are functioning together as a team.
James Rodriguez and Christiano Ronaldo were also rumoured to be unsettled with issue peculiar to their position of play.
James Rodríguez, who in fine form at the FIFA 2014 world cup, joined Carlo Ancelotti side for £80m. He came up as a substitute for Christiano Ronaldo to score his debut goal for Real Madrid on 19 August against Atletico Madrid.
Reassuring fans through the media James said “Myself and Cristiano have a good relationship, although it’s not been long. I hope that we can continue to play together for a long time.”
Talking about his position on the team James also said: “I will continue to play exactly where Carlo (Ancelotti) wants me to play. Wherever he
decides is best for me, I am happy to do so for him and the team.”
