Renowned actress and talk show host, Jada Pinkett Smith, has been candid about various aspects of her life in a recent series of interviews. Alongside discussing her separation from husband Will Smith, her initial reluctance to marry, and her close bond with Tupac Shakur, Jada has also revealed her involvement in drug trade during her teenage years.
During one of the interviews, the Hollywood star recounted a darker phase of her youth. She disclosed, “I thought I was going to be a queen pin, for sure.” Jada shared that she got entangled in the drug trade and became associated with influential figures in that sphere. “You can get caught up in the scenery. I was rollin’ with some really high rollers at the time,” she added.
The actress reflected on a different version of herself during those tumultuous years. She painted a vivid picture of a Jada that was willing to confront and take drastic actions. “That’s a whole ‘nother Jada, a whole ‘nother Jada that would chase somebody down the alley with a switchblade because they stole $700. Or the Jada that would sell crack cocaine and then get set up, and two dudes come in with nine-millimeters, and she gets a gun put to her head,” she recounted.
