Nigerian singer, Skales has lambasted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after the anti-graft agency’s operatives allegedly invaded his home.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to call out the agency on Tuesday.
Skales disclosed that armed EFCC operatives stormed his home to “oppress” him in front of his daughter, her mother and his staff.
The singer said he had never been involved in fraud in his life, and chided the EFCC and its operatives for storming his home commando-style.
“God go purnish una @officialEFCC I am not a criminal, I have never don fraud in my life, you came in with guns to oppress me in front of my daughter and her mother & my staffs. you will never prosper in anything you do as long as you’re efcc staff! You will always be a failure,” the singer wrote.
The Herald could not immediately reach EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, for comments.
