President Bola Tinubu has expressed “absolute confidence” in the integrity of his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Tinubu spoke while presiding over Monday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The president was reacting to media reports that Gbajabiamila has been allegedly subverting presidential orders regarding appointments and selling appointments to the highest bidders.
On Monday, Tinubu reiterated that he was not above making mistakes and would gladly take correction.
He said all campaigns of calumny against Gbajabiamila must stop forthwith.
“I have absolute confidence in the integrity of my Chief of Staff.
“All campaigns of calumny and insinuation should stop.
“If I make a mistake, I am ready to own up to it,” the president said.
