Senator for Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to save his home state, Katsina, from the claws of bandits.
He stated this Saturday night in a tweet, after the wife of a member of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Kurami, was abducted by gun-totting men.
Sani recalled that Alhaji Kabir Muhammed, elder brother of the Katsina state Secretary to the Government, remained in the hands of his captors three days after his abduction.

The SSG’s brother was abducted on Wednesday while working on his farm in Daftau Village, Danmusa Local Government Area of the state.
Sani said that presidential intervention was needed to stem the tide of abductions and killings in Katsina.
He wrote, “While the elder brother of the Katsina State Secretary to the Government is still in the hands of bandits, the terrorists have struck again this night and kidnapped the wife of a member of state House of Assembly Dr Ibrahim Kurami.
“It’s time for the President to save Katsina state.”
