CNN’s Isha Sesay speaks to a senior Nigerian official about the government’s response to the kidnapping of 200 schoolgirls.
Dr. Okupe, who is a senior special assistant to Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan informed the Cable Network News correspondent that President Goodluck Jonathan had called several security meetings in order to address the service chiefs on strategies to retrieve the kidnapped girls.
He said two battalions of soldiers had been deployed to Sambisa forest and over 250 aerial surveys had been carried out in the area.
