Apple Incorporated’s iPhone 6 has the biggest market share of the company’s range of phones, a study has revealed.
According to a report by Localytics, a Massachusetts, US-based web apps analytics and marketing platform, the iPhone 6 led the pile with 30.1 per cent and the iPhone 6s with 9.1; compared to iPhone 5s’ 23.7 percent; iPhone 5c’s 8.5 per cent, and 8.8 per cent for the iPhone 4s.
The iPhone 6 range also saw more app activity than the other iPhones because of its larger screen display compared to the other iPhones.
“On the 6 and 6 Plus, an app is launched more than 15 times per month, on average. The next highest engagement is on the 4-inch iPhone 5s, with an average of 14 launches per month per app, and the 4-inch iPhone 5c, with an average of 13.1 app launches per month,” the report stated.
Localytics said the data were obtained by examining 100 million iPhone devices that had active app sessions logged during August 2015.
