Alhaji Abdullahi Bafarawa, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto state, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to invest the looted funds recovered from corrupt public officers to revitalise health and education sectors.

Bafarawa told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto that the Federal Government should provide modern health infrastructure and equipment across the country.

He said that such state of the facilities would ensure qualitative and health care delivery services.
He explained that the country was blessed with the skilled human resources needed to manage healthcare institutions in the country.

He also called on the federal government to address the needs of all public schools.

“Our schools are dilapidated with lack of teaching materials to prepare excellent academic ground for future generations,” he said.

He explained that giving priority attention to the educational sector would enable the youth contribute positively towards nation building.

Bafarawa expressed delight with Buhari’s commitment in the ongoing fight against insurgency and corruption in the country.

He noted that the political commitment demonstrated by the president has made it possible for Nigerians to move on with their legitimate businesses especially in the North east.

Besides, he called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of exposing suspected characters in their midst to enable the security agencies deal with any unforeseen circumstance in the country. (NAN)
