Following the alleged invasion of the premises of the Ekiti State House of Assembly by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday, the State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said he might reconsider the presence of the DSS in the Government House and other government establishment in the state.
In the alleged invasion, some lawmakers were whisked away by the operatives, eliciting a scathing condemnation of the DSS by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Kola Oluwawole.
The lawmakers are Hon. Afolabi Akani (Efon Alaye Constituency) and Hon. Musa Arogundade (Ado Ekiti Constituency 1).
Also arrested is Mr Ropo Ogunjobi, who, until recently, was the Chairman of the State Internal Revenue Board.
