INSPIRING: Woman Marries Soon After Having Her Arm Bitten Off By Crocodile

2 Min Read

A former Zimbabwean national tennis player, Zanele Ndlovu, who experienced a quite devastating situation after her arm got bitten off by a crocodile, has got married in an emotional ceremony.

The woman got married to her British heartthrob Jamie Fox mere days after the attack almost claimed her life.

Zanele was canoeing in the Zambezi river above the Victoria with her husband-to-be when the giant beast struck her from below.

Zanele Ndlovu was attacked in the inflatable canoe and had her right arm torn off and her left hand bitten.

Her husband, Jamie managed to rescue her but she was losing so much blood he feared he might be unable to save her.

A make-shift tourniquet was applied and Zanele Ndlovu was rushed to hospital where surgeons battled to save her life but she lost most of her arm.

Despite her horrific injuries, she was determined to become Mrs Zanele Ndlovu-Fox and not miss her wedding day.

So the hospital allowed her to use the hospital chapel to get married.

Yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo, where she has been recuperating, Zanele tied the knot to the love of her life Mr Jamie Fox, at a beautifully organised, heart-warming ceremony.
