Friends star, Jennifer Aniston and her husband of three years Justin Theroux have called it quits in an announcement that has shocked the world.
New insider details indicate that the couple had been having problems for over a year before their final split.
According to Eonline, he source said; “They’ve been separated for two months now, but were having intense issues for about eight months.”
Distance was a huge factor in the demise of the relationship with Justin choosing to live in New York City “She really tried to make it work with him but the distance was a factor as he only wanted to live in N.Y.C. and there was no compromise with her… Their lifestyles were completely incompatible, and ultimately Justin decided to leave.”
The source added that Justin came over to meet with Aniston on Valentine’s day and ever since then things have been a little hard on Jen.
“Jen was doing OK for a few weeks after Justin left, and then things got stirred up again when the announcement was made to the media,”
It was also noted that Courtney Cox, Aniston’s former co-star and real life BFF was of huge help to Jennifer during this hard time.
When conversation steered to a possible Brad Pitt reunion, the source said, “Jen never talks about Brad,” our source says, “and rekindling is not even a conversation. She has always thought that chapter is sealed and so far in the past.”
