Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the greatest player in the world and therefore, it is expected that he would earn a lot of money
But thrice the wages of everyone else?
The Portuguese forward was signed to Juventus in a €100m (£88m/$117m) deal from Real Madrid making him the most expensive 33-year-old ever.
He has now gone 3 games without a goal and there have been questions as to whether Juventus have made the right investment.
Even a former executive of Juventus, Luciano Moggi, had said that he does not believe that Ronaldo is worth that much.
So how about his wages?

Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo earns an obscene €31 million (£28m/$36m) per season with Juventus and is on a 4-year-deal which means that over the course of his current contract, Juventus will be spending a mind-numbing €124 million on the former Manchester United man.
To put this in greater context, the next high earner in the Serie A is Gonzalo Higuain who is raking in €9.5 million (£9m/$11m) per season.
That’s a far cry from what Ronaldo is earning
After Higuain, it is fellow Argentine attacker and Juventus star Paulo Dybala on €7m (£6m/$8m), with Miralem Pjanic (also Juventus) not far behind on €6.5m and rounding off the top 5 is Douglas Costa of Juventus on €5.4 million.
