The Nigerian Air force dealt a blow to bandits unleashing mayhem in Kaduna State after its jets attached to operation thunder strike bombed the Ansaru bandits’ camp at Kuduru Forest and neutralized most of them in the process.
According to the air force, this was achieved based on credible intelligence reports that the Ansaru bandits linked to a certain Mallam Abba were converging at the location.
Air force jets conducting surveillance mission over the area also confirmed the presence of gun wielding bandits in the forest before the area was bombed.

The coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche confirmed the incident.
“Several of the bandits were killed as the attack aircraft strafed the area, while others attempting to escape were mopped-up in follow-on attacks,” he said.
This victory comes on the heel of the clamour for good news in Nigeria’s fight against terrorists and bandits in the North east and north west. The Military high command dispatched special forces troops to Kaduna on Thursday to combat bandits and put a stop to killings in Southern Kaduna.
