Independent National Electoral Commission has started another round of voter registration and distribution of Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) in Imo state.
According to a statement signed by Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, Imo State governor’s Senior Special Assistant (Media), the state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha said INEC started fresh round of registrations in the state because of persistent plea by him to the commission not to disenfranchise anyone in the state.
He urged those who have not collected their PVCs to get it at the electoral wards and those who haven’t registered should do so at the local council headquarters.
Okorocha also urged the politicians in the state to emulate the All Progressives Congress led government.
