A total of 92 new recruits of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Edo Command, have completed their induction programme in Benin.
The spokesman of the command, Mr Suleiman Aminu, made this disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Benin on Thursday.
He said the new recruits were part of those who were recruited nationwide and deployed to various formations across the country.
Aminu said the recruits, who had just completed their induction programme in Edo command, cut across both the junior and senior cadre of the service.
He said the new recruits would boost the workforce of the command, adding that they were evenly distributed in the seven facilities in the state.
“The Edo Command of the service actually has 92 of the newly recruited staff, who reported for duty in Edo and they went through four weeks of the induction programme.
