A state high court in Osun state has thrown out a suit against state governor, Rauf Aregbesola instigated by Justice Folaranmi Olamide.
A High court sitting in Iwo and presided over by Justice Moshood Adeigbe dismissed Justice Oloyede’s application for lack of jurisdiction.
Justice Oloyede had insitgated a suit against the state Governor, petitioning the court to challenge the recommendation of Osun House of Assembly, asking the state Judicial Service Commission to recommend to the National Judicial Council that Oloyede should be sanctioned on the account of judicial misconduct.
The Justice had earlier petitioned the House of Assembly to impeach Aregbesola and his Deputy over corruption allegations.
The House of Assembly in turn investigated the matter and when they didn’t find any evidence recommended that Oloyede be sanctioned.
The Justice went and filed a motion before the court challenging this decision which the court struck out.
