Arsenal confirmed their come back into winning ways after a delirious win over Newcastle on Saturday Premier League fixture.
The same fans of the North London club, who criticized Arsene Wenger when they were defeated 3 – 2 by Stoke City, chorused “there’s only one Arsene Wenger”
after Cazorla fired in a penalty kick to secure their win over the Magpies
Wenger expressed his guilt for their defeat to Stoke and added that he is “thankful for the fans,” who once again, bestowed their hopes on him.
“We lost, unfortunately, at Stoke and we feel guilty for that” Wenger said.
“But 99.9% it is people with full respect even when they’re not happy,” he added.
“I can take the 0.1%. Yes, of course, I’m thankful for the fans singing my name at the end of the match. It’s very nice to get support from the crowd.
“But the most important for me is to win football games and the best way to make our fans happy is to do that.”
