The Chief Executive Officer of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku has expressed shock that Naira Marley and his cohorts have not been arrested.
Executive Jets had earlier tendered a written apology to the Federal Government for conveying Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley from Lagos to Abuja in order to perform for fans.
The case attracted public outrage after Naira Marley, a 2019 BBNaija housemate Kimoprah and many fans violated the social distancing rule posed to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus.
Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation reacted to the news by suspending Executive Jets for transporting Naira Marley amid flight ban.
However, Executive Jets released a statement that the flight company got an application from FASHOLA BABATUNDE and assumed it was the Minister of Works requesting to fly.
Unknown to them, it was Naira Marley and his cohorts, whom the company referred to as ‘a bunch of useless people’
In an interview with Premium Times, the airline CEO admitted writing the apology letter addressed to the Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika. He said he wrote the letter which has been trailed by mixed reaction out of anger.
Iwuajoku also condemned the indiscriminate movement of any form during the Coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “Why will anyone be moving around unnecessarily during a pandemic? Moving around for musical concert at this time is ‘unnecessary movement’. I am wondering why they were not even arrested.

“I have been abused by people who said I referred to them as ‘useless people’ but I don’t care. If you see the truth, say it. Although I said so in anger, that is still my position today.”
