“I’m pained” – Buhari condoles with ex-NTA DG over son’s stabbing to death in Kaduna

President Muhammadu Buhari says he is pained by the death of Aminu Mohammed, the son of former Director-General of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) at different times, Mohammed Ibrahim.

Aminu Mohammed was reportedly stabbed to death by thieves, who snatched phones from their victims in Kaduna, Kaduna State.

In a message to the veteran broadcaster, released by president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Thursday, Buhari told Ibrahim, who is the Makaman Ringim, that:

“I am pained by the sudden demise of your son.

”My thoughts are with you and the family during this hour of grief. May Allah give you the fortitude to bear the loss.”

The deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites in Kaduna, on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Senator for Kaduna Central in the Eight Senate, Shehu Sani has revealed how bandits in Buruku area of the state killed a father and his three children.

He added that many others have been kidnapped by the bandits.

Sani wrote, “Bandits in Kaduna’s Buruku area killed a farmer Surajo Maikwaya and his three children – Yusuf Surajo, Abubakar Surajo and Ibrahim Surajo.

“Fourteen others from Udawa and four from Kuriga villages are currently held hostage by the bandits. May the souls of the deceased Rest In Peace.”
