Nollywood actress, Steph Nora-Okere has frowned at her description as a contemporary of fellow actresses, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji.
Okere hit prominence in the 90s after starring in Blood of the Orphan directed by Kenneth Nebu.
While Omotola debuted in Nollywood in 1995, Genevieve’s first movie was ‘Most Wanted’ in 1998.
Okere, while responding to a question on being in the same league with Omotola and Genevieve, said, “I had already cut my teeth in the industry way before they came in. But while in the industry, we did some jobs together. I started acting with the likes of Sandra Achums, Eucharia Anunobi, Liz Benson, Alex Lopez and Susan Patrick and a host of others.“
