Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has tipped the Gunners to progress from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League when they meet Greek side, Olympiacos in their last group game on Wednesday.
The German has been one of the mainstays of the Arsenal team this season, providing 12 assists to date in the current English Premier League.
The Gunners are in a precarious situation in the UCL, as they need a two-goal margin, or a 4-3, 3-2 win to progress in the competition.
While expressing is respect for the Greek side, Ozil said he was confident that Arsene Wenger’s side will progress.
He said: “Olympiacos can play good football – we saw that in the first match. They want to play on the counter-attack but we can’t concede goals like we did again.
“We have to be good in defence. If they score a goal then we have to score three goals, although we know that we can score goals.
“We know that we have a lot of quality up front. The aim is to go in ahead at half-time and then we will know everything is possible.”
