From Ikorodu To Hollywood: Ikorodu Bois Get Obonge Breakthrough

Popular Nigerian dance and mimic group, Ikorodu Bois who go by @ikorodu_bois on Instagram have been hit with a surprise breakthrough as they finally move from Ikorodu to Hollywood.

 

This is coming after the teenage group produced a unique remake of a Netflix movie, Extraction which was posted on IG and attracted world wide attention.

The group posted the video with a caption: “we so much love this movie and we hope @chrishemsworth and @netflix sees this remake, pls retweet.”

 

The remake went on to catch the attention of Directors of Extraction, the acclaimed Russo Brothers who expressed admiration for their talent and went on to officially invite the Ikorodu Bois to premiere of the sequel to the movie, Extraction 2.

 

The directors said: “This is awesome! We would love to have you guys at the #Extraction 2 premiere… DM us and we’ll get you there!

 

The Ikorodu Bois, a group of teenage boys, rose to fame on Nigerian social media space with their unique and hilarious remakes of blockbuster movie trailers and music videos of hit singles such as MJ’s they don’t care about us, Burna Boy’s pull up, Bad Boys For Life, Money Heist, the recent Extraction and a host of others.

 

This development signifies a major milestone in their comedy skit careers which took off in 2017. The future sure looks bright for the group.
