Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho will know his future at the Etihad Stadium.
Iheanacho has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club, because of little playing time under the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss.
Guardiola hailed the Super Eagles forward as a “killer in the box”, but refused to be drawn on where he will be playing next season.
“Kelechi is a young player – a killer in the box,” Guardiola said on Friday in his press conference ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at home to Leicester City.
“He is strong and fast. At the end of the season we will talk about individual players (if they’re leaving or staying).
“No, it doesn’t depend on if they are going to play the last few games of the season.
“The decision is already made and we are going to communicate that after the season.”
