The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has elected a new President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
Gusau was elected at NFF’s 78th Elective Congress in the Edo State capital, Benin, on Friday.
He secured 21 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, who got 12.
Former Chairman, League Management Committee (LMC), Shehu Dikko, got six votes to place third.
Gusau thus became the 40th president of the federation.
He replaced Amaju Pinnick, who has been at the helms of the federation since September 2014.
